The Bone & Joint Decade: Where are we now?
Joint Action, represented by Peter Foy, attended the BORS annual meeting today at Cardiff University, focussing on “The Bone & Joint Decade: Where are we now?”
Peter answered the following questions:
- Why is musculoskeletal not a priority?
- How many funded musculoskeletal projects in the last 3 years?
- Has this increased since Bone & Joint Decade?
- How are cross discipline projects dealt with in this area?
Other speakers were David Marsh of UCL, Alan Silman of Arthritis Research UK, Chloe Heywood of EPSRC, David Crosby of MRC and David King of NIHR.
