Joint Action has been accepted for AMRC Membership

Through the efforts its internal fundraising function, Joint Action, the BOA is proud to announce that it is now a fully paid up and vetted member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC). The AMRC is a membership organisation of the leading medical and health research charities in the UK. By working with their member charities and partners, they aim to support the sector’s effectiveness and advance medical research by developing best practice, providing information and guidance, improving public dialogue about research and science, and influencing government.

This is a definite kite mark for the future direction of the BOA and a feather-in-the-cap for the activities that Joint Action has been engaged in over the past two years. It is a testament to our determination that proves that out of the ashes of The Wishbone Trust, we have been able to build a truly viable Phoenix that has been externally acclaimed to follow the latest best practices in terms of both fundraising and grants dispersement.
