Tim Board keeping up the pace
Huge congratulations to the Joint Action Marathon Team of 2012. Joint Action Supporter, Danny Huggins and Orthopaedic Consultants, Jon Waite and David Limb, ran the London Marathon on 22nd April 2012; and Orthopaedic Consultant, Tim Board, ran the Manchester Marathon the following week in torrential rain.
All runners completed in exceptionally good times (all less than 4 hours).
David Limb completed in 3hrs 14mins
Jon Waite completed in 3hrs 26mins
Danny Huggins completed in 3hrs 56mins
Tim Board completed the Manchester Marathon in 3hrs 42mins.
All of the runners are still accepting donations for their efforts at www.justgiving.com/boa and are looking to raise in excess of £1,500 each, to directly fund future research into Trauma & Orthopaedics to help keep people mobile.
