What an incredible Summer we’ve had! We definitely can’t complain about the weather this year. Something else we won’t be complaining about is your amazing generosity. Our Summer Appeal raised £10,000 and it’s all because you understand what Joint Action is trying to achieve – thank you!
As promised at our last appeal, we have outlined within the latest newsletter the projects that have been selected for funding this year. We hope you find the summaries of interest and can see how your support is going to benefit future generations.
Donations are so important in helping us fund more high quality Trauma & Orthopaedic research that could have real patient benefit and other positive outcomes. Please consider giving today – you know you can make a real difference.
We hope that our newsletter highlights the importance of donations for Trauma & Orthopaedic research. Swimmers, a walker and even a bungee jumper all feature in our newsletter and all believe wholeheartedly in our cause. Our “In The Spotlight” feature focuses on a research project we have previously funded which looks into childhood bone cancer.
On a separate note – would you or someone you know like to run the Virgin Money London Marathon next year? If so, please contact me on 020 7406 1767. The closing date for Joint Action registration is Friday 1st November.
I also wanted to mention that Joint Action is currently going through some exciting changes which we hope to share with you very soon.
However you have been affected by a musculoskeletal condition, please continue to help us to research for the future.
